Recreational Perfomance TEAM  
Boys and Girls ages 7 and up
September 2011 - May 2012

*An informal evaluation is required prior to joining this team to be sure that the athlete has the basic skill set required.

Here, we combine the full recreational RAINBOW Program (described on the recreational Rainbow program page) with performing arts in a team atmosphere.  Not only will athletes go through the Rainbow badge program at an accelerated rate, but they will also have the chance to work on performing arts skills.  They will use their more advanced circus and gym skills in unique combination with drama, dance, movement, voice and more.  They will join our fall production at the Performing Arts Centre and will be invited to exhibit their skills at other exciting demos throughout the season. 

 

2 sessions per week: Tuesdays 6:30pm-7:45pm & Fridays 3:30pm-5pm (must attend both)

Cost:  $990+tax for the season ($1108.80)

Additional Costs/fees: Club $73 (includes training T-shirt and team shorts) + BCfed $12= $85

Demo Uniforms: $80 (they get to keep all their team attire), Badge Testing: $15/test (once you’ve completed your registration and classes are underway - you will receive a full info package with level details, test days, structure etc).  We will likely recommend some smaller equipment purchases (for practicing at home) once focuses and areas of interest/skill have been identified. 

Optional additional costs (which are not included here): workshops, equipment etc.

NOTES:
*Some extra pre-performance rehearsals will be required
*Each performer needs to fundraise for our mandatory fall show (minimum 5 unique donations of $25 or more)
*Each family needs to take turns having 1 adult volunteer for various demos (supervision) and each family needs to provide 5 hours of adult volunteer work in preparation for the fall production.
